Specific duties include but are not limited to

As an Engineering Support Operator for the Design Services team, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Assembly, Build, Repair, Rework of printed wiring assemblies on Engineering prototypes with fine pitch SMT parts
  • Trouble shoot and repair assemblies
  • Ordering tools, parts, and components for projects
  • Keeping records of project expenditures and expense reports
  • Facilitate shipping/tracking/receiving packages for the Design Services team
  • Track shortages and purchases to support Engineering Group
  • Tracking and documenting lab equipment purchases.
  • Maintain Engineering stock levels to support Engineering team
  • Electro Mechanical assembly, Cable assembly as required

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be able to multitask and work with shifting priorities to meet deadlines
  • Hands-on Fine pitch soldering and assembly skills
  • Able to work extended hours using microscope and magnifiers
  • Must have good PC skills, familiarity with Microsoft Office Word and Excel
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong inter-personal skills, team player

Preferred Additional Skills:

 

  • Familiarity with Agile Product Data Management System
  • Familiarity with PeopleSoft ERP system
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • IPC-A-610- knowledge and understanding
  • J-STD-001 Training and Certification a plus
