    Specific duties include but are not limited to

    GatesAir seeks a skilled Sales Director for the APAC Region. This person must demonstrate competent knowledge of business activity within the territory and develop strategic plans and provide leadership for the APAC direct sales team and channel partners to secure sustainable growth by taking share from direct competitors.  Candidates considered must be located within the Asia Pacific region.



    • Achievement of sales revenue target.
    • Management of major customer sales.
    • Management of field sales managers.
    • Management of channel partner sales and key customer accounts, being the primary point of contact and owning.
    • Responsibility for the resolution and co-ordination of all sales and customer issues.
    • Sales revenue forecasts and prospect tracking.
    • Preparation and dispatch of sales quotations, including service contracts.
    • Preparation and presentation of product sales proposal presentations.
    • Development and implementation of a Regional Business plan for Sales and Marketing activities
    • Provide accurate and competent knowledge of the full company product range, with basic technical knowledge in order to converse with customers



    • Customer focused attitude, a minimum of 5 years successful broadcast sales experience and channel partner management experience in EMEA
    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.
    • Must have experience/knowledge in Broadcast - Transmission.
    • Fluent in English language (a second language is desirable)
    • Experience developing forecasts and business plans to achieve assigned goals is essential.
    • Should have a flexible and professional approach to their work at all times.
    • Should be numerate, literate, hardworking, well organized and able to cope well under pressure.
    • Must be proactive in their business approach.
    • Must be able to travel frequently throughout the region - up to 50%.
    • Strong team player with the ability to work successfully in a multicultural organization
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
    • Ability to translate technical product information into strong customer value propositions
    • Experience in developing large deals directly with the end customer
