    Specific duties include but are not limited to

    As a System Test engineer for the Intraplex Engineering team, you will be expected to perform the following:

    • Work with the development team to understand the functionalities in a release to create and execute system level tests.
    • Document test procedures and results and enter any problems in the problem tracking system.
    • Work to shorten testing cycles by automating functional testing where possible.
    • Make recommendations on test equipment needed to support the design verification test process.
    • Works with Intraplex sales and support team to re-create customer scenarios and provide customer support when required.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or computer science.
    • 0 to 2 years’ experience testing or developing combined hardware and software products.
    • 0 to 2 years’ experience using test equipment including oscilloscopes, LAN sniffer, or a network analyzer.
    • Strong understanding of Linux operating system.
    • 0 to 2 years’ experience with C/C++ programming, HTML, Javascript.
    • 1 year experience or 2 coop sessions/summer internships working in R&D or SQA.

     

    Preferred Additional Skills:

    • Knowledge of Selenium Web Browser or similar Automation and scripting.
    • Knowledge of HTML, PHP, Perl or TCL scripting languages.
    • Knowledge of Linux kernel and experience with projects on Raspberry Pi.
    • Self-motivated and able to work under minimal supervision.
    • Willingness and ability to learn new technologies and take on different assignments.
    • Strong written and oral communication skills.
