Responsible for All Aspects of Generating Effective Technical Proposals:

• Act as response leader for incoming proposals and requests for quotations
• Set-up meetings with key stake holders and aid in assigning responsibilities to answer bid requirement to meet deadlines
• Manage communications and collaboration between sales, technical teams, purchasing, legal and product management
• Maintain extensive knowledge on transmission product portfolio
• Analyze bid requirements and identify GatesAir product fit
• Schedule and facilitate internal and external customers, working with third-party vendors to obtain quotations and technical documentation
• Manage RFP response processes
• Interpret technical diagrams & technical requirements documents
• Evaluate commercial terms & conditions, identify risks & manage responses from company resources to respond accurately
• System and workflow descriptions with narrative
• Formatting response template with various file formats
• Generate quotations in Salesforce CPQ software
• Produce high quality proposal documents
• Manage documentation storage & organization
• Take initiative on process improvement to ensure workflow and responses are both accurate and timely

• Associates or Bachelors Degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience.
• Candidate will have experience in broadcast engineering, sales, service or related field and experience with Broadcast product knowledge and industry awareness
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Publisher etc.), including SharePoint and/or similar cloud storage, Adobe Acrobat
• Experience with reading and evaluating technical drawings

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Project Management skills
• Salesforce.com CPQ software experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with creating technical drawings using Visio or DraftSight CAD software
• Contracts Administration
